about

For Pam Denley 1927-2004

Ken Waxman writes: "A Walk in the Palm Forest with My Saxophone is just that, a more than 18-minute mini-disc, where binaural mics attached to Denley’s knees capture the sounds of him striding through, then improvising in a forest on the Queensland coast. Sadly, it’s also an audio elegy to his recently deceased mother."
